Weekly Photo Challenge: Fall

“Winter is an etching, spring a watercolor, summer an oil painting and autumn a mosaic of them all.”  ~Stanley Horowitz

This is one of my favorite quotations, as nothing could express how I feel about the seasons more perfectly.  Fall is, by far, my very favorite!  Enjoy~!

  6. Thanks everyone!!!! I appreciate your kind words. 🙂 This shot was actually taken last fall…our leaves in PA haven’t really turned yet, either. Soon, though, I think….as they are beginning to turn the slightest shade of yellow and some have fallen off the trees already. Off to visit your blogs, now. 🙂

  7. Reminds me of our previous hometown of Redding, Connecticut. I loved that we lived where travelers would drive miles to see the seasonal changes that our family was so fortunate to witness every day, walking out our front and back doors or glancing through our windows.

hugs for reminding me of how gorgeous the east coast is this time of year… 🙂

  17. What an incredible shot! I am especially drawn to the grassy area in the foreground of the picture. It looks as though each leaf was placed there by an interior decorator. It is a perfect mix of colors and spacing.

  18. Hi Christine
Love this one, too! It is something from a story from long ago….. Thanks for your visit to my blog again. Just to get back to your comment on ‘Joy in the Journey’ – thank you for thinking of me & yes, please ping away! Look forward to seeing your post once it is done.

On another note, I suspect the reason you got to that one was that you were probably in search of my ‘sunset’, post. However, maybe you needed to see the other one instead. Nevertheless, just in case you are interested in another sunset, feel free to click onto my name above, <pix & kardz, rather than onto my gravatar – and it will take you there. But no pressure. 🙂

Happy Blogging & have a wonderful day,
    Chris
